Registration is required for attendance at the Technical Assistance Institute. The last day to register is Tuesday, July 3, 2007.
EST is holding a block of sleeping rooms at the Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. for the nights of July 31 - August 2, 2007, at the prevailing government rate (which at time of posting is $162.00) plus 14.5% taxes. To make your reservation at the Ritz-Carlton, please call 1-800-241-3333 and inform the reservation agent that you are with the ADD Youth Grantee Meeting. Be sure to inform the reservation agent of any accommodations you need. If you have any trouble with specific accommodations, please contact Enterprise Services & Technologies, Inc. at 301-588-6046. Please be aware that you are responsible for all charges during your stay at the Ritz-Carlton; you will be asked for a credit card when making your reservations to guarantee your room. The last day to make your reservations for a hotel room is: Tuesday, July 3, 2007. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is Noon. Please plan your travel accordingly. You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements. We strongly urge you to make your arrangements early to obtain the lowest possible air fare. Ground Transportation and Airports Information Special Needs: Please contact EST if you require assistance with your ground transportation. The greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area is serviced by three airports:
Taxi cab service is available at or near the baggage claim areas at all three airports. The following transportation companies have accessible vehicles in their fleets. Please call 24-48 hours ahead of your planned arrival to arrange accessible van service.
SuperShuttle: 1–800–BLUE–VAN (258–3826) is available at all airports at the baggage claim levels. Reservations for pick-up at the hotel for a return trip to the airport can be made at the airport shuttle desk. Click here for the SuperShuttle site. Advanced reservations (at least 48 hours) are required for accessible vehicles. Public Transportation/Metrorail Metrorail, the region’s rapid transit system, has a station at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. It does not have stations at BWI or Dulles Airports. Metrorail stops next to terminals B and C at Reagan National Airport. Take either the Blue or Yellow line. BLUE LINE: Take the Blue Line going in the direction of Largo Town Center to the Foggy Bottom/GWU stop. Exit the Foggy Bottom/GWU station and take either the escalator or elevator to exit the system; turn left onto 23rd street, NW. The Ritz-Carlton is approximately 3 blocks from the metro station. YELLOW LINE: Take the Yellow Line in the direction of Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street. At the Pentagon stop transfer to the Blue Line going in the direction of Largo Town Center. Exit at the Foggy Bottom/GWU station and take either the escalator or elevator to exit the system; turn left onto 23rd street, NW. The Ritz-Carlton is approximately 3 blocks from the metro station.
